A Recruiter's Night Before Christmas

A new SourceCon holiday tradition debuts...

Merry Christmas!
Happy Hannukah!
Happy Kwanzaa!

Happy (fill in the blank)!

Tis' I, Jim Stroud, your SourceCon Editor,

The holidays are upon us and with the holidays comes annual traditions. Maybe your tradition is having dinner with the family, exchanging gifts with friends, going to a church service, or all of the above, or none of the above. No judgement. Whatever floats your boat this holiday season, you do you. I hope you are happy.

It occurred to me that the SourceCon community does not have an annual December tradition. We should have one and,  after speaking with several of you, I think you are in agreement with me. So, I have decided to start an annual tradition that I hope will continue for years to come - a holiday video. The very first one is entitled, "A Recruiter's Night Before Christmas" and features the poetry of SourceCon OG - Steve Levy. Click here (or on the image below) to enjoy this holiday treat. Please share it with your network and help the good cheer of SourceCon spread all over the world. Thank you in advance.

I can’t wait to hear your reactions!!!

Cheers,

Jim Stroud

Inside “The Circle”

Did you know that we have our own online community, separate from social media? Its called “The Circle” and has exclusive content not found anywhere else. This is what was posted inside the Circle this week:

And for those who were thinking, we have a what? When did that happen? Let me show you what’s been hiding in plain sight.

Yup! Clicking the community link is your ticket in. Go figure. About a thousand or so people have ventured in and have become inactive. I’m trying to change that. Join me?

Sourcers Anonymous

We received our first article submission from the community this week and it is being evaluated. It is one of what I hope to be many articles in the near future. In case you missed it, 4 peer-reviewed articles on the SourceCon blog gets you 100% off your SourceCon ticket. Click here for more details or, click here if you want the same details spoken to you from a video (with an added sourcing tip). Up to you.
