I'm on the hunt for the next OG!
Who is the next great sourcing talent?
SourceCon Community,
Can you believe that 2023 has come and gone? Neither can I. Where does the time go? As I look forward to 2024, I am excited about the possibilities and I need your help to realize them. Once upon a time, SourceCon was small with only a handful of speakers and participants. Since then, those OGs have become popular industry icons. I want to do what I can to find, and promote the personal brand of the next generation of OGs.
If you know someone who is a whiz at sourcing, has a quirky way of thinking, and is open to sharing what they know, I want to know who they are. Not only that, I want to make them a star in the SourceCon community. What does that mean?
It means that I want to see their content on the SourceCon blog.
I want to feature them in SourceCon videos.
I want to see them leading a roundtable at a conference, giving a workshop, and ultimately, keynoting at SourceCon.
When it is all said and done, I want to help someone look back to 2024 as the year SourceCon put them on the map. Will you help me do that?
I (believe | hope | "am confident") you will.
To begin, simply email me jim at sourcecon.com and let me know who you know and what they bring to the table. Feel free to introduce yourself as well. Introverts welcome!
Ad Thank you vance.
See you next year SourceCon community! You are appreciated.

As AI continues to advance, will humanity become redundant? I doubt it, especially when it comes to recruiting.
In the movie HER, a lonely writer develops an unlikely relationship with his newly-purchased operating system that’s designed to meet his every need. Could that happen in real-life? If so, can AI be trained to become effective recruiters since a major component of recruiting is human interaction? I went down a rabbit hole of research to figure this out and I think what I found may surprise and unnerve some of you. Time will tell. As far as it being possible that humans can fall in love with AI, the answer is yes. In fact, its already happened, several times. Take for example… (SourceCon)
